Permitted Species - Updated 2/24

Please not that this list is constantly changing and open to modification. It is broken down by the type of liberation to give you a better idea of what comes from where. There is also a color-coded system (green, yellow, and red) to show which species are most likely to thrive, and which have a low chance of survival. Species in green have a high chance of survival. Species in yellow have a lower chance of survival. Species in red, though perhaps capable of surviving, aren't really made for the habitat and climate and thus would not thrive. You should probably avoid joining larger numbers of "red" species.

Louisiana Natives Because Louisiana wildlife is now permitted, I thought I'd throw together a list to give you an idea of what is available to play. However, I found that there was such a wealth of species available - especially since fish, reptiles, and amphibians are all fair game on this site - that it seemed near impossible. Luckily, I found a webpage that has a wealth of information on what species inhabit each state (and each region of the world), complete with pictures. So, if you're strapped for ideas of what exactly lives in Lousiana 'cept for "gators n' possums," check out the link below!
