This damp, mixed terrain habitat is a small section of land where intermittent trees, poor grazing, and damp, muddy soil dominate the landscape. It is generally undesireable to live in, but it does offer good hunting opprotunities, additional graze and forage, and some degree of shelter when the other areas are overtaxed by the population. This land is also where the orchards were planted, so any species who require the sustinence of fruit and nut-bearing trees would do well to venture here often. Furthermore, many species of the forest, wetlands, and grasslands come here, which allows those who would not normally interact in their natural habitats to do so on a common ground.
